My holidays are once again nearly at an end.. but it has been nice and relaxing so i am well rested for the return to work!! Must try and post here at least once between holidays .. even if it is just to post some LO photos !!!

Here are some Los i have created recently , 1st 3 are using the Authentique range for my DT kit with Mad About Scrappin. The others are mainly challenges for Scrapboutique - Pashion For Fashion Competition and monthly challenges etc

Last day of a 3 week break from work for me as I took an extra weel LSL - very nice !!

10 weeks of this term to go .. and report writing on there too ... ugh !!!

Ah well hopefully some nice weather to look forward to as well !

Some photos of my sensational weekend at The Country Place - Kalorama, a few weeks ago - for the Scraptacular Scrap Retreat .. best retreat I have been on . Huge and i mean huge room to scrap in - and there were 60 of us. Great setting, food was fabulous .. a real step above - restaurant quality at each meal!! Girls were awesome - spent far more time socialising than scrapping - but did get 2 cards - pictured here and 4 Los done so happy about that!!!

Have been enjoying a little rest and relaxation time lately with the mid year term 2 school break. Weather has been cold and wet so that is perfect for hibernating inside!

To date

- read 3 novels

-slept in lots

- spent time ( too much) on FaceBook

- been out to lunch a few times

- had my lovely niece to stay

- scrapped some LOs

Not sure where the last couple of months have gone ... nearly time for holidays again thanks goodness. It has been a loooong term at school. Have found time to scrap lots though !

First day back at work for me ... ah well all good things must come to an end . Used my extra weelk on hols to sleep in some more, have a few lunches out, move Craig's mum out of her house into a retirement village unit, spring clean and cull my wardrobe.. long overdue and a bit of creating.
School/work will be busy this term with Zone aths for me and 12 Karoo kids tomorrow, Y6 round robin day this friday, Y5 day later in term, report writing, Kanga Cricket day ... lots on
Thought i would just share the card i made on the weekend. It is in preperation for the Magnolia stamps i have ordered. Have been thinking about getting some for a while and finally decided to order a couple . The images look fantastic with Prima flowers, pearls, bling etc, so this was a bit of a practice !!!

Yep, enjoying a third week of hols thanks to some Long Sevice Leave. Term break was nice and relaxing, did most things i had planned but now i can get a few extra things ticked off the list and get some more LOs completed. Have been watching the Comm Games too so that has meant latish nights

Helped Craig's mum pack and clean up on Sunday, as she moves into her retirement village unit tommorow. Will be nice to have her closer rather than at Grantville.

Days are certainly longer now - amen to Daylight savings i say

Love that it is milder too, though that can change in a blink here in Melbourne !!!

Holiday time for me again ...ahh ya gotta love time to relax and revitalise. Really need it after a looong busy and wet cold term. Have included some pics of LOs i have created since my last post back in June. Intend to scrap a lot this break and already have completed 3 LOs. have a bit of Spring cleaning - culling of my stash, clothes, etc to make a bit more room in this house. Spring always seems like a good time to do that!!!!

I have 3 glorious weeks to do whatever, as i have taken an extra wek LSL.

Not heaps planned a few lunches and such but lots of days in my PJs till midday or so just scrapping, sewing, reading, catching up on reading or DVDs.

Last term was very wet ... and dont get me wrong i am pleased about the rain here in Melbourne ... but many of the sporting events i had organised had to be rescheduled and 2 of them had to go into next term. My wonderful Athletics team - nearly 90 kids from Y4-6 came in 2nd at the District Aths Day - gloriously sunny day that one - so very proud of them.

Have included some photos of my beuatiful babies - felines - Nitro, Grace, Oliver and Moses.

May even get another post done these hols ... i will try !!!

Winter is well and truly with us in Melbourne that is for sure!!!
Good scrapping and cardmaking weather i say!!!
Just under a month since my last post so I am improving ... and there was room for improvement!!!
What has happened in the month since the last post .. not a lot really
Busy at school/work .. my school team won the District Cross Country. Here are a couple of photos - after the win and of our shield

Year 6 round robin days have also been played - teams play - soccer, football, tee ball, tag rugby and netball against 5 other local schools. As the District Secretary
I organise those days - booking venues and refs etc.
Report writing has also been on the agenda - oh joy
Now I am proof reading other teacher's reports before the final print - more fun

Thank goodness for scrapping, it helps keep me sane!!
A friend from my early crafting days - she used to run a small home based stamping/craft business- think i was her best customer !!!- took over a fairly established Scrap business near me and I did some demos for her on her opening day and some card samples. Hope to take some classes for her too.

I am the 'Calendar girl' over at Scrap Book Capital for June and have set the sketch and will be setting a few challenges for the cybercrop this month.
I miss my time at scrapcap as a design team member so it will be great to set some card and scrap challenges.

I was very lucky ( by 1 solitary point!!!)to win the Postcards comp at Scrap Boutique
It was an awesome competition and i loved all the challenges. We visited a different destination over 6 weeks and had to draw our inspiration form the postcard we were 'sent' each week. It really was such a different competition to any I have been involved in before - a big challenge too!! Some of my LOs for the comp are below.
These 4 LOs were inspired by Postcards from Italy, France, India and Japan. we also visited USA and Greenland - might include those LOs next time

LOOOOOOONG TIME NO POST

Well yes it has been a mighty long time since i posted... no excuse really, apart from being very busy at work etc etc.

I have been scrapping a bit, not as much as I would like but ..... doubt i ever will ... maybe when i retire he he!!

All the little fam are good - DH, and the 4 felines . Grace is an absolute charmer and so lovable but also rather naughty!!

Am in the process of culling my scrap supplies so i have more room for new goodies which simply do not fit in the storage space I have ... it is a work in progress ya might say

Was tempted to go to the papercraft Show on this weekend but resisted the temptation - dont really need more ....... by enough online!!!!

I have uploaded a few LOs and a card i completed over the last few months
Will put up some more - for the Postcards Comp at Scrapboutique shortly - well at least that is the plan!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS HAPPY NEW YEAR , AUSTRALIA DAY..........

Above are some of my recent - well since my last post- creations - for Cybercrops ,challenges, gifts, a comp i actually won - yay!! and some just because creations.
Long time no post huh??? But i have been having a sensationally relaxing 5 week holiday so that probably excuses me. Have been doing a fair bit of blog hopping too and am just amazed at the talent around ... must add some of my faves to my blog list here so if you dont already visit them you can have a look too.
Our Christmas was good - low key and cruisy . Craig worked Christmas night, but he was going to work Christmas Day and Boxing day on day shifts so when they asked him to swap to the one night shift he did. It meant he could come and have lunch with my family and didnt have to head off until about 4:20 for his shift in Wonthaggi. I left Mum's at about 7 after a lovely day, celebrating, eating, drinking ( but only a glass or 2 as i was driving) and catching up with the family.
New Year was just spent at home, usually, at least for the past 3 years, we have had a dinner out with my sister and her family and sometimes my Mum. But this year they have the dog and wanted to see how he went with the fireworks and predicted storm, so they stayed home. We had a nice seafood salad and a big jug of Sangria and saw in the new year together - great views from the our house - fireworks over most of Melbourne can be seen!!
Since then i have had just the best holiday i can remember having in a long time.
Have slept in heaps, relaxed and read magazines, scrapping books, and read a whole novel - unheard of for me in such a short space of time . Really want to get back into fiction reading as i had forgotten how lost you can become in a good storyline. I usually just read professional publications( boring), magazines and non fiction during the working term as that way i dont lose track of what the story/plot was about when i dont pick up the book for a while !!!
Read a Mary Higgins Clark book - I'll Be Seeing You- really really good. Ordered a few more, by her, online today at Borders - free delivery and 20% off !!!

During the hols since Jan 1 I have also
- scrapped 10 LOs, 1 card and an OTP item
- culled my scrap mag collection
- gardened
- enjoyed lots of lovely lunches out and about
- visited Healsville Sanctuary
- had all the medical check ups i was due to have
- had the car serviced
- organised ( well nearly) bags of new scrap stash that were piling up at the door
- met up with girls i taught with about 20 years ago - we catch up 2 or 3 times a year
-enjoyed a few days with my neice when she stayed over - beading, Wii-ing, walking, talking, shes a great kid!!
- cleaned out the linen closet - donated towels, pillowcases and sheets to a cat rescue place
- did a miniscule amount of work for school- only what i had to
- chatted on some great scrap sites, joined a Cybercrop, some challenges etc
- spent lots of time with my 4 beautiful felines - ahh!!
- relaxed, relaxed, relaxed.

And it all ends tomorrow when i head back to work - sigh
We have 3 pupil free days and then the kiddos start back on the 1st of Feb.
Might post at the end of next week about how the first week has gone

I know i have said it before but i am gonna try to post at least every month and i have only missed December recently - i just cant find the time to post weekly or fortnightly as some lovelies do.

Ah Report time

Above are a few of the LOs and and cards i have created recently
The last card is for week 2 of THE BUILD IT UP COMPETITION over at SCRAPBOOK CAPITAL. The1st and 2nd cards were for the Scrap Cap October Cybercrop - halloween colours, use a halloween creature on a card or LO. The first 2 LOs are my entries in week 1 and 2 of Scrap Your Pants Off - ARTY PANTS. The 3rd LO is was for the Scrap Cap CC also - scrapping about your fears.

I am well and truly in the midst of the crazy, maddening time of year for teachers - known as report writing. Even as a PE teacher I have over 400 kids' reports to write - 300 characters - so that is about 12,000 characters to type - aaaah. Have nearly finished the Y1s and so then on to 4, 5 and 6s. Three more weeks to get them done so i am on track. But have a super busy week with 3 nights of meetings early in week. After nest w'end i will have 2 busy weekends too.
Hopefully i will stay on track as it can be really stressful if you get behind and have to sit up till all hours doing them. I dont work particularly well under pressure.

Grace , our new puss, contiunues to settle in well and be a real doll!!! Will post some more photos soon.

Scrap Retreat was soooooo much fun!!!

Over the weekend I had an awesome time at the annual Scrapbook Capital Retreat. Arrived on Friday afternoon and from then until Sunday afternoon the time just flew. I met some great girls - Maria for the first time IRL and Tracy for the 2nd time ( yay that she is coming to Vic to live again in December). The theme was Halloween as the photos show and we had a great dress up night on Saturday. Who is that scary looking witch in the red hat????

Amidst all the chatting, i did mange to - have a wonderful massage - thanks Lorrie, scrap a book about my boy Nitro, run a few scrap games - Scrapaggories, ScrapHead ( like Celeb Head) and a Trivia quiz, eat lots and lots and LOTS of very yummy meals , have a few drinks, dress up as a scary witch, laugh, take part in the raffle and auctions, make a great Xmas card - ta for the class Lyynne-make new friends and generally have a blast!!! Roll on next year I say.

Now dont get too excited .... the new addition is a feline!!

We picked up Grace, our new Bengal, about 3 weeks ago.

She was a breeding queen for the breeder that we got our precious boy Nitro from.

Grace is not Nitro's mother, but we saw lots of her kittens over the last couple of years and she was auper mother!!!

Grace is nearly 5 and has fitted in very well here. She is a little 'pocket rocket' but makes up for her small size with lots of attitude! The other cats have adapted well to another buddy in the house, though Nitty , who is the boss cat, took a fair while longer than the others. But now he and Grace tear around playing and raising mischief!!!

I am pretty sure she is going to enjoy her retirement home here!

YAY HOLIDAY TIME IS HERE

Some LOs and cards created recently, mostly for AUG and SEPT CC AUG SEPT sketch Challenges and the SYTYCS comp at SCRABOOK CAPITAL

Holiday time is upon me again, and not a moment too soon. Third term is always a busy one and i am glad it is over. Now i can sleep in, relax, shop, sew and of course scrap.

Lots happening at SCRAPBOOK CAPITAL at the mo. Birthday sale specials going off everywhere so check those out!!! September Cybercrop has just wound up and So You Think You Can Scrap? Comp is down to its last few rounds.

Hopefully i will be kick starting another Build It Up competition once SYTYCS? is all done and dusted.

So far these hols I have been to Picture to Page with my sis, went for a loooooong walk/run at Lysterfield Lake - mainly cos I took a wrong turn !!!, scrapped for the CC and SYTYCS? comps, had SIL and BIL and kids over, took cats to VET for check ups etc, had a yummy lunch out, organised lunch date and scrap afternoon with Ange.

We adopt a new feline in about 10 days so looking forward to that !!!!

BACK FROM CRUISIN

Well where on earth did the past few months go????

Have recently returned froma fabulous 9 night cruise aboard The Pacific Dawn, around New Caledonia in The South Pacific. If you havent been on a cruise ... I can highly recommend them!!

It's been about 10 years since I last cruised and this has certainly given me the bug again. Soooo relaxing, great weather, no housework, lots of food, beautiful islands, plenty to do and see ...or not if you want to just chill on the ship.... came back really refreshed. Have tons of photos, the above being just a quick random selection. Will scrap some soon. Had an extra week off after the cruise too - just did a few things around home and continued to relax!!

Back at work now of course and its been busy as usual. The school production was on last Friday night and it was a long night but the kids put on a great show.

Hope Lorrie from Scrap Cap is enjoying her break off in QLD and i was sooooooo excited to be given another stint on the Design Team at Srapbook Capital . Looking forward to working with Kylie and maria, the other DT members too. Cant wait for the retreat in Oct and to meet up with Matria IRL ... Tracy too of course- I think they are 2 pocket rockets!!!

Off to scrap now so will post again ... sooner than between posts this time!!

Cards from week 2 3 and 4 Build It Up Competition at Scrap Cap

Where does the time go? This seems to be an all too common catchcry these days. I know where it goes - too much work. Dont get me wrong i really enjoy my job, but sometimes there are just not enough hours to do all that you need to at work, then do stuff at home, breathe, sleep, eat and dont get me started on finding time for yourself ... and i dont have kids .. so you mums - how do ya do it?

Really have decided to not bring too much work home with me - only what absolutely must be done or the world will end( well at least the bus wont arrive for a sport day, a team wont have any players etc). And to devote a little time each day to me - havent been to the gym in nearly a month and i was so getting back into it, scrap or craft a little each day - even if it is just looking through a mag for inspiration or getting a few supplies out for a card. That hopefully will put me back on a more even home/work ratio.

This is a really busy term for me lots happening sportwise - District Cross Country, District Aths, 2 days of Year 6 round robin in 5 sports against 6 other schools - oh and i will have to write about 400 + reports in there sometime. Next term isnt so hectic so i am praying my feet actually touch the ground.

Craig accepted an overtime shift today at Phillip Island - think its at the races so i have already achieved some 'me ' time - read the saturday paper, checked out some scrap blogs and sites - SCRAP CAP was No. 1 on my list of course - MAY CYPERCROP IS UNDERWAY SO HEAD OVER - http://www.scrapbookcapital.com.au/ for some fun challenges

Now i am updating this - hang the housework - the world wont end will it ???!!!

Its a busy month birthday wise too with Craig's last Thursday - out to '81' for dinner - very nice, and my niece. Taylor's this Thursday, she turns 11. Plus of course Mother's day tomorrow - which is at my sister's so i only have to whip up a plate of yummy meatballs and yoghurt sauce and turn up- looking forward to relaxing there tomorrow. Have been making cards for Mother's Day during the week, used some premade creations for Taylor and Craig ( being a DT member at Scrap Cap has given me quite a stock of cards :) ) and sewing a beach cover up for my Mum - who claims she IS NOT wearing bathers on our cruise in July , so maybe this well encourage her!!! Hope to get some PJs whipped up for Taylor during the week - will see how i go . I am giving her , as one of her gifts, the handbag album i created for Lorrie's stall at the school fair , so i hope she likes it

Well now i better print off the other challenges for the CC at Scrap cap and then have a shower so i can take my Moses boy to the vet for his Catrophen shot ( to aid arthritis) and see if he has lost more weight - 820g so far !!!!

Yes it's true No posts for a month and now 2 in a few days .... dont think i can keep this pace up but ...

Mmm long time no post huh?
Well that's the hectic life of a school teacher :)
Lets see what has been going on in my life the last month.

WORK WISE- Assessing the Year 1s in overarm throw, and teaching kicking skills, Y4-6 skills off high jump, relay and hurdles, conducted the school cross country races, district sports trials, meeting after meeting ... god i love them!!!, booked buses for all next term's events, had lunchtime newcombe games for my Y3 talented and enrichment students, running club sessions at recesses - geez no wonder i havent updated this blog!!!

HOMEWISE - Visited vet for 6 monthly check up for Oliver and Moses our senior pussos, clean bill of health
Moses has his weight down from 6.3 to 5.7kg - yay Moses.

Got them both microchipped on the councils microchipping day - $25 each
Nitro is already chipped.

Had a few nice dinners out in Berwick - 81, Ambrosia, The Courthouse.

Then off to Fedeles in Glen Waverley on my B'day for dinner. Craig gave me a scrapping voucher and some beautiful roses. Out with the family later in the week for dinner in Wantirna at The Top Paddock - spoilt with more pressies - Dvds, vouchers, books, perfume from the Body Shop, scrapbook mag subscription, and more.

Also have been getting a lot of scrapping done - the handbag album and LO for Lorrie for the Fair

Then the scrapping came to a halt when we got the Wii off Layby on Sunday ......... many hours spent playing Wii Sport - love bowling - I am sooo bad at baseball , getting there with the tennis and pretty good at golf - havent tried boxing. Love the Word Coach too and Big Beach Sports - where so far I have whopped Craig at Beach Volleyball -- and he plays very well IRL!!!

Spent ages - whislt Craig played a War game - looking up reviews of Wii games on the Internet. Just so i know what to buy!!
Really can get sucked into cant ya!!!!

This week on hols so have a few appointments to keep and have the family coming over for Easter Sunday for Lunch . Need to get into the garden to clean up a bit for that and cooking for the lunch is on the agenda too!!
There I think that makes up for not a lot of posting over the past month :)

Wow it has almost been a whole month since my last post? Had every intention to post at least once a week...ah well. Did set my niece up with her blog last week so that is like posting - :)
What have i done in my life since Feb 14th? Work is busy , but i do like it that way. Warm weather seems to be behind us so that is good- especially when you are out in the elements teaching PE each day!!!

I have been sewing a bit lately - decided i didn't have enough light simple summer dresses - i think it was all those hot days that prompted me to make some!! Also made a few tops in knitwear fabric. Scrapped my first layout in a while yesterday for Scrapbook Capital's March Cybercrop- grandparents theme. Pop into the site wwww.scrapbookcapital.com.au to join in the fun - all creations can be uploaded until midnight on Tuesday. Also created a card for the cybercrop card challenge- am loving my gig as a DT member!!!!!!

Hope to create some bookmarks for Tracy's challenge and a LO for Julie's Sketch.

Craig and I have joined the new gym that has opened locally. Have been suspending my gym m'ship at the Y for quite some time as it was not inspiring me to go and workout. Hope to get there today after catching up on housework - ho hum , and getting a bit of scrapping done.

last night we went to the zoo to the Twilight evening - Diesel was performing. Great night - but the highlight was seeing the new Snow Leopard cubs- they are sooooooooooo cute!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Hope everyone had a fantastic Valentines Day with those you 'love'
We went out on Friday night for a nice dinner at a local restaurant as Saturday nights are busier and we often find the service and food can suffer sometimes
Scrap cap girls will have seen most of these love themed scrapping creations but here they are

I hope to get some scrapping done this afternoon as I havent scrapped all week!!
Did make a summer dress during the week though so i guess that makes up for it.

Two weeks back at work and boy that has flown. Much better now that the weather is a bit cooler, Y4-6 kids are doing Athletic skills, long jump, sprints, triple jump etc and the Y1s are concentrating of throw catch skills. We have organised a 2hour activity session for the whole school tomorrow morning so i will be busy setting that up first thing.

Not a lot else has been happening - just like everyone else in Victoria - watching in sadness at the devastation caused by the bushfires. Hopefully all those who survived will be given mountains of support to get their life back on track.

Phew - I survived my first days at work...and the heat!!

I started back at work on Wednesday, the first over 40 deg day, with a PD day.
The staff room is airconned but with 30 or so people in there it still gets a bit warm.
Thursday was 40 plus again and that started with a staff meeting , leadership meting, team meeting and then basically planning for the term , collecting supplies etc. As my office/rabbit warren(will have to take a photo and post so you can see how small it is) doesnt have air conditioning I headed to the staffroom to plan first terms program and get the swimming notices typed and printed.
Friday was planning again and team building activities - after a lunch we went bowling which, whilst fun, was quite warm!!
Havent really done much scrapping over the past few days but will get into it if the weather is a bit cooler at night next week. last week I basically lay semi submerged in the spa after work to cool off and decide if i really needed to cook dinner or if we could survive on salad again!

So glad the kids didnt start last week as it would have been a bit horrendous !!

Just caught up on housework this weekend, had a meal out with Craig's mum, sister and aunty, made my card for the Cybercrop challenge at SCRAPBOOK CAPITAL ( ON FEB 6TH...BE THERE) and will go to my sister's today to catch up with them and see Sedona the pup - who has put on 2.2 Kgs since last we saw him.

A Day On The Green

Yesterday's Day On The Green at Rochford Winery was just super. We arrived at the conference centre in Mooroolbark about 2:30 and had time to check in - grab ice and a quick lunch before jumping on their shuttle bus at 3:30 which took us to the winery.

Gates were due to open at 4:30, so we thought we'd have about a 40 minute wait in the queue but they opened at about 4 and so we were in by about 4:15 or so, after a bag check for alcohol, sharp knives, glass etc.

Captain's Table girls were handing out complimentary dips and biscuits - good start!!

Then we realised that the ticket box , where we needed to pick up wrist bands for the "Rochford Club' area, was on the outside!

I waited with the bags, but this security guy( apologies to anyone who has a security person as a friend . relative etc) who obviously let the authority go to his ...er...head wouldn't let Craig back out to get the bands "Cos its only one way traffic at the moment wait till it settles down a bit"...yeh sure in about 1 hour when people stop pouring in!!! He wasnt even going to budge when Craig explained we needed them to get into the club area - " No offence mate but there is a big sign saying box office " was his reply - even though Craig mentioned the Rochfords woman who had arranged it said to see her once we got inside at the ticket box!!!!
Once he went off somewhere another guy said - yeh no worries , so luckily that was the first and last minor drama for the day.

Great weather - good spot, some cruisy music - havent heard much of the Black Eyed Peas , but they were easy to listen too. I do like Paul Kelly and wish he had been on for a bit longer!! When Craig had mentioned that Leonard Cohen hasnt toured anywhere in 15 years and is 75, I thought hmmmm.... how good could this guy be??? But i was pretty impressed - he certainly still has a great voice and has written some very meaningful songs. We chatted to those around us, sipped our way through ...3 bottles of wine ...over 7 hours - so not too bad.( and a few litres of water of course)....and nibbled on cheese etc.

We were on the last shuttle bus for our accommodation venue - so it was well after 12 when we called it a night.

I have had a really lazy day so far - as my holidays wind to a close many days have been like that
I have eaten brekky outside and had a read of my Tim Winton 'The Riders" book - great short stories. Decided what to have for dinner- got out recipe and defrosting meat. Checked the Scrap Cap forum and had a few posts there. Played with Nitro - he is on his 'bunjy cord' outside - will have to put up a photo of that so you know what I am referring to!!
I have nearly finished a LO - so will go get that completed in a minute.

Oh, now I remember why I was kinda hanging around home for the day ...My sister and her family have recently acquired a gorgeous 8 week old Golden Retriever pup and whilst they/she is loving the new addition to the family , she did say she had not thought it through quite as well as she should as it is like having a baby in the house - early mornings, trying to get him to settle for sleep at night, watching that he doesn't eat anything he shouldn't etc etc.

Anyway they are 'crate training' him - to sleep in a big cage overnight so that he can always sleep inside the house at night - apparently he can stay in their all night at this age - as that's what it is for - and just like a baby once he is in there no matter how much he cries you are meant to leave him there.
During the day he obviously cant stay out in the yard on his own and as they have a cat and 'house rabbits' he cant be left free roaming in the house either . You cant put them in the crate during the day for more than about 1-2 hours or he will see it as a negative thing . So my sister is feeling like she cant really go out anywhere for long - unless her husband is home - daughter is not old enough to stay on her own either.
So i offered to go over and' pup watch' today if she needed a few hours to get out and about. So far - 2:45 p.m. I haven't heard anything so it might be time to do something useful with my day !!

Tomorrow Craig and I are off to The Yarra Valley to A Day On The Green at a Winery, we saw Jimmy Barnes there last year and he was awesome. This time it's Leonard Cohen ( one of Craig's faves), Paul Kelly and The Blackeyed Susans. Staying the night at a motel in Mooroolbark and coming home some time on Sunday. I love the Yarra Valley so it should be a good weekend. If i take some photos I will post them when i get back

Well here I am with my very own blog - not sure how I am going to get it looking as savvy as some I have seen but I am sure i will learn. Here is a LO i created recently after a trip to the zoo. Wow i finally did it -set up a blog Not sure how to get photos etc on here yet or change the heading to a different font other than the ones they give you, but i am sure i will get thereHopefully some of my scrapping pals at Scrapbook Capital will visit when i am underway!!!
